The service was good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The return ticket system is confusing. You get two separate one way tickets upon arrival but you need both tickets when returning to the airport.

Thank you for your comments and review. When buying the return transfer tickets 2 tickets will be issued, one for each sector. Only one ticket needs to be shown to driver upon pickup from hotels on return to airport.

A very good service to and from the Blue Lagoon. Could there be the option to add entrance to the Lagoon itself?

Thank you for your review and comments. The entry fee to the Blue Lagoon bathing area can be reserved online when booking the transfer and can be bought at our tour desk as well when checking in at our office on departure.

A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with just the right amount of information to keep me interested and not so much that I felt overwhelmed. I am glad I took advantage of this tour and would recommend it to others visiting Iceland for the first time.

Well run tour, timely pick up and catered well for our young children. We were really lucky and saw the lights! Wonderful!

Fine tour, a very good guide with nice sense of humour. The part of the trip in the eastern part of Reykjavik (Hafnafjordur?) was a little dull.

Thank you for your review and comments. Hafnarfjördur is actually a town, built mostly on lava fields where some believe elves live in rocks among the many well kept old houses. The town is also well known for its harbor. Probably not very lively early in the morning at the start of the tour but well worth the visit and further exploration on a sunny day.

I would recommend this tour. IE seemed slightly cheaper than other large tour companies and a lot cheaper than the smaller companies so that's why I picked them. They are on time, very friendly, helpful staff and I can't stress enough how pleased I am they don't try and con you. If bad weather or for some reason there is no point in going - you don't go or pay! I don't know if many smaller companies could honestly stick to this policy? We were lucky to see whales in February so close on our tour (or possible just the same one) the only slightly annoying aspect which might convince me to chose a smaller company with a more personalised boat is if you could get a better view? Being on these larger boats when the one whale pops up you are only going to see it if you're on the right side of the boat! I am a keen photographer so capturing the beast in that famous tail dive shot was a must. The driver or tour guide was fine in his little look out post with a clear view of 12, 1, 3, 9 o'clock! He kept shouting these times to reflect the position of the whale's hump sometimes a little late in my opinion but luckily it wasnt really busy so i survived running from each side of the deck camera in tow desperate for the chance of getting 'that shot'! Actually all the running about helped with my circulation! Iceland wasnt as cold for me but on a boat in the choppy sea you will be cold! Proper gloves are a must! If not like me after 2 hours you'll pop down for a quick warm coffee and then hear that bloomin guide across the mike 'Wow! Awesome! 3 oclock! Wow did you all see his tail dive! The whale only did that famous tail dive once in the three hour tour while i was getting a coffee at blooming 6 o'clock! Grrr! So anyway if you're prepared to brave the cold, fight the tourist for a decent spot, know your clock face and don't have a coffee for three hours you might just capture these awesome beasts in all their glory! Good luck!

Great experience. The blue lagoon was a unique experience, running from the changing rooms to jump into the nice warm waters !! The golden circle tour provided a good way to see Icelands amazing geography, the scenery was stunning.

It's a perfect way to see Iceland! And even though the weather changes a lot and we needed to recalculate the route, the guides had a back up plan! Again, a fantastic opportunity to see Iceland by super jeep!:)

We had a wonderfull day, saw beautiful landscapes (waterfalls, mountains, beach) and a very nice museum, where we learned about the life of the Icelanders in the past. The tour was well organised and our driver/guide Silke told us a lot about Iceland and the Icelandic habits. The bus was very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this tour to everybody who wants to see some of the highlights of Iceland.

Good afternoon out. We were picked up on time, had to wait a short while for coach to different harbour, saw a whale, so all in all well worth it.

We are happy about the I.E. services that we booked on the 1st day and the last day of our visit in Iceland. Iceland Excursions offered online booking discount and the transportation is just as comfortable as others that we'd taken during the trip. Good Value, Good Service.
